Plasti-med Ureteral Stents combine a unique polymer material that softens at body temperature while “remembering” its shape with a chemically bonded wettable solution that becomes ultraslippery when moistened. The result is a stent that satisfies the neef for ease of placement and patient comfort.
the stent is available in a wide variety of sizes, including 3&4 Fr which are ideal for pediatric use. Each ureteral stent supplied with attached braided nylon tether and one pusher. Advanced TPU construction provides firmness necessary for advancement, then softens at body temperature for increased patient comfort Unique 360 degrees bladder curl. Less material minimizes trigone irritation. Exclusive 360 degrees kidney curl. Minimizes migration andreduces trauma during removal ultra slippery hydrophilic coating on inside and outside surfaces.
Caution: These stents are not intended as permanent indwelling devices. Periodic evaluation via cystoscopic or radio-graphic means is suggested. Must not remain indwelling for longer than 3 months.
